A few weeks ago I woke up late and came very close to being late to work. I had woken up to my alarms, but had delayed getting out of bed to the point that I had fallen back to sleep. I woke up again not to my own alarm but to my roommate's. After peeking at the clock I jumped out of bed and rushed to ready myself for work in order to leave on time.

Talking to my roommate, she said that she had thought that it was weird that she'd set her alarm for 7:30 am when normally she would get up at 8 am, but when she had been setting her alarm the night before she had felt that she needed to set her alarm half an hour earlier than normal.

I am grateful to the people who manifest the hand of the Lord in my life by listening to and obeying the promptings of the Holy Spirit. This is yet another experience in which I was able to recognize the tender mercies of Lord being given to me.

I am grateful for thoughtful home teachers.

I am blessed to live in such a beautiful country.

I am SO thankful that my chem concurrent enrollment credits transferred over!

I'm extremely grateful to live so close to my favorite siblings.

I'm blessed to have made it to the county assessors in time--one less ticket to be furious over.

I am thankful for chemicals that make and keep hair curly!
I'm blessed to have an amazing hairdresser.
I am blessed to live only a three-minute walk away from my preferred salon.
I'm grateful to have been able to afford my new hair style. It looks SOOO much better!

I am blessed with working limbs. Life would be so difficult and so different without them.

I am grateful to live only a few minutes drive from the temple. It is SUCH a blessing!

I am thankful for games--they're so fun!

I am grateful to live where food is delicious and plentiful.

I am blessed to have at least one job where I can eat after every shift. And the food is AmAzing.

I am thankful for paved roads to drive on.

I am blessed to have such adorable nieces and nephews. They're so sweet. :)

I am thankful for clouds. Clouds are cool and are connected to precipitation!

I am grateful to have glass windows. It's so nice to be able to view the beauty of the earth from the comfort of the indoors.

I am SO glad to have a bed to sleep on! It's much more comfortable than the floor.

I am grateful for the many servicemen and women who have kept this country free!

I am thankful for internet access--access to knowledge, among other things.

I am blessed to have beautiful eyes. They're just so gorgeous. ;D

Indoor plumbing. SO thankful for that!!

I am thankful for refrigerators.

And for microwaves. How would I survive without them?!

I am blessed to have a wonderful body that has few problems.

I'm thankful for cameras that preserve memories that otherwise would be forgotten.

I am so thankful for missionaries!

I'm blessed to have lighting that happens with just a flip of a switch.

I am grateful for fans. I HATE being hot!

I am blessed to live where there are so many Latter-day Saints.

I am blessed to live at a time when there is a living prophet and living apostles of Jesus Christ on the earth!

I am blessed to have a general idea of what I want to do with my life.

I am blessed to have such hilarious siblings. When we're together, there's no such thing as 'boring'!

I am grateful for my knowledge of the gospel. Kristy is right--being in the MTC will be much different for me than for most other missionaries.

I am thankful for my cell phone! Communication is key.

I have been blessed to live in a prosperous country, even though, most of the time, I resent the people living here.

I'm thankful for rain on sunny days--and for rainbows. :)

I am thankful for animals. Pets AND the wild ones!

I am blessed to be able to work to provide for myself. Even more of a blessing, I enjoy both of my jobs!

I believe that I am blessed to have endured the trials that have come my way. They have shaped who I have become.

I am grateful for my first Fall/Winter roommates. They made my first two semesters much easier and more enjoyable than those of some of my friends (whose roomies were monsters, apparently).

I am blessed to have a camera to preserve many memories of which I might have forgotten without documentation.

I'm blessed to have new roommates that I absolutely love already!

I am grateful for finally figuring out a good setup for the furniture in our little bedroom.

I am SO grateful that I live where cold showers are not (usually) the only option!!

I am very blessed to have a working vehicle.

I'm extremely thankful for an unofficially adoptive father who is a mechanic and can fix my car for free (plus parts, of course)!

I am grateful to have such an amazing best friend. I love you, Em!! xD

I am blessed to have two jobs.

I am grateful for animals, especially pets! Patch, I miss you my fat baby. :(

I am thankful for missionaries to write--I can live my future mission through them vicariously. :D

I am blessed to have church at 11:30 am now since this new apartment only has one bathroom!

I am grateful that I was able to find my excellent laptop for such an amazing price almost a year ago. Definitely a huge blessing (much needed for school and every other aspect of my life)!

I am SO blessed to attend a university where people go by integrity alone most of the time because we are expected to live a life of honor.

I am grateful to be living in a country where I may worship as I please.

The apostles have talked about writing down things that they are thankful for and how this helps us to see the many blessings we have been given. If we are grateful for one thing every day, will this not improve our view of our lives?
